La Cala is getting ready to celebrate the April Fair this Saturday

The Andalusian spirit is coming to La Cala de Finestrat. This Saturday the April Fair (Feria de Abril) will take place from 12:00 am onwards. The flamenco dresses, with their polka dots and bright colours, the flamenco music, the dancing and the hustle and bustle will permeate the streets with festivities. The parade starts at noon, with dances and entertainment, which will run along the Avenida de la Marina Baixa until it reaches the beach promenade. There will be non-stop fun, and at 6:00 pm there will be a show in the Plaça de l'Àmfora, with performances by flamenco music and dance groups. Everyone is invited!

Programme

From 12:00 pm. Musical entertainment in Plaça de l'Àmfora.

From 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Itinerant performance by the flamenco groups Compañía Flamenca Pura Casta and Flamenco 7 lunas.

Itinerary: from the old Tourist Information office (Avenida Marina Baixa, 12, next to Bar 56) to the beach.

6:00 pm. Performance by the flamenco group “Sacromonte” accompanied by horses. Plaça de l’Àmfora.

7:15 pm. Performance by Compañía flamenca “Pura Casta” and Flamenco 7 lunas. Plaça de l’Àmfora.
