    The Protagonists

    Grup de Corda Ponoig

Instrumental and vocal group founded in 2005. The Grup de Corda Ponoig is currently made up of a total of 40-45 members divided into: Instrumental part: 6 guitars, 4 laudos, 7 bandurrias, 1 bass and various percussion instruments. Vocal part: 6 sopranos, 7 altos, 7 tenors and 2 baritone basses. Its director since the group was founded is Francisco Pérez Lapera. The repertoire they offer is quite varied, with a wide range of styles ranging from the most typical fables (habaneras, boleros, Latin American song...) to other styles such as popular music, Christmas carols, singer-songwriters and monographs on Nino Bravo, Italian song, music from the 60s-70s-80s...

Their actions have been carried out mainly in the Valencian Community, mainly in the regions of Marina Alta and Marina Baixa, although they have also acted in Navarre. The group is open to perform anywhere they are invited.

Rondalla Cordes i Veus de la Font del Molí

In 2011 and as a personal concern to bring together people from the town with a love of string music, the search began for a teacher who would take on the challenge of starting, almost from scratch, the instruction and teaching of music. This task fell to Francisco Pérez Lapera with whom they combined effort and perseverance to face the challenge.

Currently, he continues with the musical direction of this rondalla and they are proud of the achievements obtained. It was in 2012 when they were constituted as a non-profit cultural association and, since 2013, they have been part of the Alicante Federation of Sea and Mountain Plectro. On this tour they are grateful for the collaboration of their Excellency City Council of Finestrat, who has provided both the rehearsal space, as well as their human and technical resources for the realization of their performances. At the curricular level, his concerts have been framed within cultural exchanges between the different towns of his province. Another area of action has been the Estius Culturals de Finestrat, as well as collaborations with other cultural entities in the town. There are currently 20 string instruments and 14 voices.
