On Sunday afternoom, on the occasion of the Day for Elimination of Violence against Women, the Municipal House of Culture of Finestrat will host the family show “Sense fils”, a performance that combines different disciplines such as live music or puppet theatre going through the storytelling. This project was born from watercolor illustration, which grew into a multidisciplinary artist project that is nourished by diverse collaborators. The result is a book, a play, a concert or, in short, an experience.

The theatre is in Valencian and tells how one summer night in the market some children are kidnapped by a sorcerer. At the same time, the village is facing a sudden and mysterious drought. In the midst of this hopeless scenario, a young girl, named Idaira, discovers a power that could be the solution. With his wqtercolors he is able to turn the characters he draws and paints into reality. Thus, the representation is a tribute to the creative and imaginative capacity that dwells in each one. It is a hymn to the anonymous heroes and everyday heroines. A myth and original story that is presented in the form of an illustrated story, accompanied by an original musical composition.
