Jazz concerts are back in the Ermita’s gardens at Finestrat

Jazz concerts are back in the Ermita’s gardens at Finestrat

The Ermita’s (chapel) gardens will be showing off their finery to host a new jazz concert this coming Saturday, 29 July. With the arrival of summer, it's become a classic to hold events like this in the setting of El Castell. The evening will start at 10 pm with company A Contra Temps performing their show The Walkintet.

You couldn't find a more beautiful spot: the gardens with Mediterranean plants surrounding the Ermita, the viewpoint overlooking the bay, the amphitheatre below and the music wielding its baton, reminding us that this really is the best place to enjoy outdoor music concerts.

Jazz band A Contra Temps will be playing “Softly as in a Morning Sunrise”, “The Girl from Ipanema”, “Birks' Works”, “On the Sunny Side”, “Song for my Father”, “St. James”, “Alone Together”, “Autumn Leaves”, “There Will Never Be”, “Porcinology”, “Billie’s Bounce”, “All of Me”, “Moanin”, “Out of Nowhere”, “Perdido”, “My Little Suede Shoes”, “Bésame mucho” and “A fer la mà”.
