La Cala dresses up as flamenco this weekend to celebrate the April Fair. Live music, horse parades, sevillanas workshop and tapas competition, in which almost twenty beach establishments participate. From Friday 4 to Sunday 6, residents and tourists will be able to experience the essence of this Andalusian festival, characterized by joy and showiness, and for the most daring it is time to dust off the Cordovan costume and the faralaes.
During the weekend there will be the possibility of voting for the Best Tapa. The ballot box will be located in the Tourist Info on the beach and also in the Plaça de l'Àmfora. The winner will be announced on Monday, April 7. The program of events is as follows:
SATURDAY 5.
-Horse parade and flamenco entertainment from 12:00 p.m. It will be along Avenida Marina Baixa and up to Plaça de l'Àmfora.
-Exhibition of the "Agurtzane Altuna" Dance School and the Luis Enrique Dance Academy, Vanesa Martín and María Sánchez, starting at 4:30 p.m.
-Next, live music with the group Flamencos de las 7 lunas. 6:00 p.m.
TAPAS CONTEST. FROM 4 TO 6 APRIL. Participating restaurants and prepared TAPA.
