On 15 August La Cala will be holding the 46th Beach Volleyball Tournament, the oldest of its kind in Spain
Cala de Finestrat is gearing up for 3 intense days of the best national and international beach volleyball. Registration is now open for the oldest 4×4 tournament in Spain, which has been held in Cala de Finestrat every 15 August for 46 years. Plus, on 13 and 14 August, the 2×2 regional final of the Vichy Mediterranean Beach Circuit and the 4×4 Amateur Mixed Tournament will also be played. The beach is once again taking centre stage during the summer months and tourists can expect to find all kinds of holiday entertainment.
On 13, 14 and 15 August, Cala de Finestrat will be the nerve centre for top-class beach volleyball, especially on the last day when the senior tournament will be played. With almost half a century of history and a very special personality, this tournament brings together professional players from national and international circuits and amateur players from across Spain.
Next week beach volleyball fans are set to have an exciting day with the regional qualifying final for the Spanish Championship and the Mixed Amateur Tournament being played too. This tournament will produce the regional winners who go on to represent the Region of Valencia at the forthcoming Spanish championships.
