Ráfagas, the new exhibition that covers the music of the 80s and 90s, can be seen until July 31 at the Municipal Library
Lovers of Spanish music from the 80s and 90s are in luck because this Friday, July 5 and, until the 31st of this month, they will be able to visit the exhibition "Ráfagas", an art collection that covers the years of the Movida Madrileña and the rise of Spanish pop. Guitars, manuscripts, photographs and clothing of some of the most iconic artists of this time, such as Los Secretos, Nacha Pop, Hombres G, Joaquín Sabina or Pereza, can be seen in the exhibition hall "Els Nostres Mestres", in the Municipal Library of Finestrat, located on Carrer Sant Miquel, in the heart of the old town.
The inauguration will take place this Friday at 8:30 p.m. and could not be more in line with the exhibition, since the rock band Kilómetro 80 will liven up the evening with an open-air concert. The exhibition, which comes from the hand of Niwala Music and the Department of Culture, will bring together all the artists and musicians who made this countercultural movement possible at a very significant historical moment in Spanish society, such as the Transition, in which Francoism was left behind and new forms of art expression were experimented withistic.
Visiting hours are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
