The 2023 tourist season gets underway in Finestrat with the opening of a new Tourist Info on the beach

The 2023 tourist season gets underway in Finestrat with the opening of a new Tourist Info on the beach

This Holy Week sees the start of the 2023 tourist season and the opening of a new Tourist Info office closer to the beach, just opposite the Paseo Marítimo beach front promenade. The new office consists of an information area, a playroom with furniture and children's panel, a touch screen and an audiovisual room, which is due to open shortly and will be equipped with “immersive cube” technology. This technology will allow tourists to experience a simulation of a walk through the most iconic places in Finestrat, including Puig Campana mountain, charming streets in the old town, the crystal clear waters at the beach or the leisure and shopping facilities in the Bulevar Comercial shopping mall. The upper floor of the new office will be used as a meeting point for all the companies working in the tourist sector across the town.

The office will be open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on Saturdays and holidays, including Holy Week, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. All paper-based leaflets and brochures have a QR code and are displayed in the office windows, so tourists can download all the information onto their mobiles at any time.

Everything is ready to welcome visitors who choose Finestrat as a tourist destination. During the Easter holidays the beach is running the lifeguard service from 10:00 am through to 2:00 pm. Cleaning work has also been stepped up during these days. Children aged between 3 and 12 can join in with the special activities organised for them from Easter Thursday, 6 April, until Easter Monday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. You don't need to register beforehand for these sessions.
