The Hermitage of Finestrat is once again the scene of jazz nights this Saturday 20th
Jazz returns to the summer nights of Finestrat. This Saturday, July 20, at 10:00 p.m., there will be a concert in the area of the Hermitage, in the emblematic place of El Castell. The Walkintet is the group that will be in charge of interpreting the well-known contemporary composers and musicians such as Jaime Cullum. Admission will be free.
The Walkintet is a jazz quintet, with members from the municipalities of Alfafara and Bocairent. It is formed by Toni Martí, on guitar, Ximo Belda, on trumpet, Rubén Martín, on double bass, Marc Puentes, on sax and clarinet, and Javier Martí, on drums. They define their live show as a mixture of classic jazz songs with their own arrangements. An elegant live show that always pleases fans of this new musical genre that originates in the towns near the Mississippi Delta, USA.
On the other hand, at the Museu de Finestrat you can see until this Sunday, July 21, the exhibition of paintings that has been made by the adult students of the Escola d'Art de Finestrat. Remember that the Museum's opening hours are on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; on Thursday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except for the last weekend of the month when it will be closed.
