The new 2025 tourist season kicks off with the launch of the lifeguard service in La Cala

The tourist season of this 2025 begins with these Easter Festivities and will end when the Festivities in Honor of the Tourist are held in September, with which the residents of Finestrat bid farewell until next year to the visitors who have chosen this municipality of the Marina Baixa as their holiday destination.

Everything is ready for visitors to enjoy Finestrat in comfort, the municipality that has the most complete offer to spend a few good days on holiday. If you prefer La Cala beach, the Rescue and Lifeguard service is already in operation, which began this past Saturday, April 12, and will remain operational until Monday, April 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Throughout these winter months, several works have been carried out in the area of La Cala so that everything is in perfect condition for when the new tourist season begins. Thus, maintenance works have been carried out on the footbaths, changing rooms and changing rooms, wooden benches on the Paseo Marítimo and Plaça de l'Àmfora, in which the USB connections that allow the recharging of electronic devices have been updated. The two playgrounds have also been improved, one located on the beach itself and the other at the beginning of Avenida Marina Baixa.

Hiking lovers can enjoy Puig Campana, the second highest mountain in the province of Alicante, in which several actions have also been carried out to keep the recreational area of the Font del Molí in the best conditions, on the paths of the circular route and the path to the top is being completed.
