The Spanish Brass chamber group, winner of the National Music Award, will perform this first Sunday of November at the municipal House of Culture
The Municipal House of Culture of Finestrat will become this Sunday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m., the stage where the Spanish Brass chamber group, National Music Award, will perform the work "The Adventures of Monsieur Jules", a project dedicated to the French writer and playwright Jules Verne. Throughout the concert, the author's adventure stories are intertwined, told from the interpretation made by the composer Albert Guinovart. Admission to the concert is free, limited to the capacity.
It is a work in six movements for brass quintet and piano inspired by different novels by the brilliant writer, some unforgettable such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Miguel Strogoff, North Against South, Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Green Stripe and Around the World in Eighty Days.
Albert Guinovart has created music that is more suggestive than descriptive in order to follow the plot of the story. They are unleashed images and environments suggested by the memory that these stories have left in the adult, who gets into the skin of a child, when he discovers that those adventures are the ones that make him dream.
The result is music that is very attractive to the audience at the first hearing because it recognizes common places and, through the accompaniment of the imagination, you can enjoy expressive, virtuosic, intimate, comical, parodic or dreamy moments. through the sounds created on stage by the six musicians.
