This Saturday, 25 February, the streets of Finestrat will be filled with carnival festivities. As tradition dictates, the people of Finestrat will celebrate this festival a week later than usual. The town’s youngest residents will be the first to enjoy the event. Their parade will begin at 5:30 pm and will travel through the main streets of the old town, ending with a huge party organised by the Comissió de Festes MiniTofols in Plaça de la Unió Europea. The children's party atmosphere will last well into the evening and then at 11:30 pm the town's teenagers will pick up the baton with a grand fancy dress ball in Sala Jove. All through the day there'll be no shortage of face painting workshops as well as a children's disco and a public bar.
