The Tourist Info of La Cala, which opened its doors just over a year ago, has become a technological benchmark throughout the Valencian Community for its firm commitment to innovation to bring all the information to tourists who choose Finestrat to spend their holidays. More than a hundred quality technicians from the three provinces met at this office to see in situ the operation of their day-to-day work.
In just over a year, this office has been certified with the Q for tourist quality. The aim is for Finestrat to become a benchmark in quality and innovation and, for this reason, the highest technology is being implemented so that tourists can have a global and complete vision of all the tourist attractions, from the beach of La Cala, to the great Puig Campana massif, without forgetting the picturesque historic center and the Commercial Boulevard.
Examples of the commitment to innovation include touch screens, through which you can access all the tourist information of the municipality and the DUALIA simultaneous translation system, which translates into more than 90 languages. with personalized attention, carried out with interpreters and not with robots, so that tourists can interact without the limits of algorithms. Tests are currently being carried out with the augmented reality totem.
The Quality and Innovation Committee of the Tourist Info Network is made up of the quality managers of the tourist info offices certified or distinguished in quality, and the offices recognized with the Innovation Award of the Tourist Info Network, with the purpose of promoting excellence and innovation in their field of action.
The Valencian Community is the autonomous community with the most tourist information offices certified with the Q for quality from the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality. It is also the one with the most distinguished offices in the Destination Tourism Quality System.
