This Saturday 27th the XXVI edition of the Trobada de la Cançó de la Mar will be held in La Cala
A quarter of a century later, La Cala is still the summer event in the Marina Baixa region for choirs and their habaneras. This year, in the XXVI edition of the Trobada de la Cançó de la Mar, the appointment will be on Saturday, July 27, at 10:00 p.m., in the Plaça de l'Àmfora and, to Finestrat, the main choirs of the province of Alicante will approach.
The Orfeón Aspense Virgen de las Nieves, conducted by Rosa María Martínez, the Óscar Esplà Chamber Choir of Mutxamel, under the baton of Albert Alcaraz, and the hostess of this XXVI edition, the Finestrat Choral Group, conducted by the prestigious maestro José Vicente Algado Climent, They will be in charge of enlivening the evening with the beautiful traditional Havana compositions.
The baton of the musical performances will be passed on Sunday, July 28, to the Auditori de El Castell, in the upper part of the historic center of Finestrat. From 10:00 p.m., the musical Pinocchio will be held, and you will be able to experience all the magic of one of the most well-known and loved stories by the Spanish public. For almost two hours there will be live songs that will recreate the life of the little wooden doll: his arrival into the world and the discovery of a life that is always hanging on his words and his nose. The score will be in charge of Nacho Mañó, musician of the Valencian group Presuntos Implicados, and the direction and interpretation is in charge of Taules Teatre, one of the most veteran groups in the Valencian Community.
