Autumn is a great time to enjoy Puig Campana, the emblematic mountain of Finestrat and the second hisghest in the province of Alicante. During these months, the temperature is ideal for hiking and enjoying a landscape that, as this time of year, is characterized by ochre colors.

The Puig Campana is a massif of great beauty that can be seen from a large part of the coast of Alicante. The views uou get as you ascend are breathtaking. However, it is also one of the mountains with the steepest orography, as it reaches an altitude of 1408 meters at its Summit, therefore, it is necessary to wear the right clothes and footwear and, also, to be in good physical shape to be able to access it.

Three different routes can be taken:

1. The Puig Campana by the sort route
2. Puig Campana Circular route
3. Ascent to Puig Campoana by the Vertical Km

Once you arrive at the municipality, it is best to leave your car in the parking loto f the Font del Molí, wich i son the slopes of Puig Campana, and start the route from this recreational area that covers 6500 square meters and is characterized by its 15 water cannons, with a flow rate of 20 litres per second. This is a good place to rest after the effort of climbing or circling Puig Campana.

Also in this area is the Font del Molí Restaurant, a beautiful place in the middle of nature to taste the best traditional cuisine of the area.
