The tourist slogan of the municipality is "Discover Finestrat. It’s all here for you" and in this complete offer, golf tourism is a must. The course has nine holes and is located in L'Alfarella. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful courses on the Costa Blanca. Crowned to the north by the Puig Campana and with the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon, the green is a large expanse of land, with gentle hills surrounded by pine forests. The Social Club is located in the middle, a white building with large windows and a large porch facing the bay, adorned with pots of red geraniums. The views could not be more beautiful, and the gentle breeze makes for a very pleasant visit.

They spend most of the year here, from October to May, and return to their places of origin to avoid the hot summer months. This is a demanding sport because you have to synchronise the club and ball, which is not always easy. However, on the other hand, it is played surrounded by nature, in a harmonious environment that encourages relaxation. And once the game is over, it's time for a snack on the restaurant's terrace where you can admire wonderful views of the sea.

The golf sector has recovered quite well after the tough years of the pandemic. This season Finestrat has returned to the same levels as in 2019. The manager of this golf course, Adrián Rodríguez, said that the quality of the grass is very good and no expense is spared to keep it in perfect condition, otherwise, he explained, they would be losing customers. According to him, the best way to promote the golf course is through word of mouth, which is not too difficult because the players have created a weekly itinerary and visit all the greens in the region.

The Puig Campana Golf restaurant is open to the general public, and given its size and the beauty of the location, it is being promoted for some small ceremonies, as well as for galas and shows. The first will be held on 6th May and will be a big party in honour of the Great Gatsby, the mythical character from the novel written by the American author F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1925. You'll have to dress up, so it would be a good idea to see the film directed by Baz Luhrmann in 2013, which won an Oscar for Best Costume Design.
